A little planning, a lot of possibilities
The ohana is together!
One of the best things about bringing our family together is that we don’t need a packed schedule to have a great time. Sometimes the most memorable moments happen around the kitchen table, during an unexpected conversation or while laughing over something nobody will ever let us forget!
We’re imagining a mix of family gatherings, optional adventures and plenty of time to simply enjoy each other’s company.
Our Activities & Entertainment Committee will help shape the details as we get closer to October 2027. For now, here are a few ideas we’re tossing around!
Every family has stories
Every family has stories worth telling, and ours is no exception! We’d love to set aside some time for the siblings and other family members to share memories, family history, funny moments and maybe a few stories the younger generations have never heard.
The best part, we’ll all be together
There will be opportunities for everyone to gather, but also plenty of breathing room. Join an outing, organize a game, spend time with the cousins, or find a comfortable spot and visit with someone you haven’t seen in years.
Nothing is set in stone just yet. As our planning committees develop ideas, we’ll update this page with more details, schedules and opportunities to participate.
For now, we’re keeping things simple: a few shared experiences, plenty of choices and lots of room for making memories.
A family dinner
One evening, we’d love to bring everyone together for a special family dinner. Good food, good company, maybe a toast or two, and a chance to enjoy having so many generations in one place.
A family outing to Chinook Casino
A little casino fun, anyone? We’re considering a group outing to Chinook Winds for those who’d like to join. Whether it’s trying your luck, enjoying a meal or simply tagging along for the fun, this would be completely optional.
Choose Your Own Adventure
Not everyone has the same idea of a perfect coastal getaway, and that’s part of the fun! Some might want to explore Lincoln City, walk the beach, browse local shops or venture out sightseeing. Others may prefer coffee with a view, a good book or a long afternoon of catching up.
We’ll share ideas for optional outings so everyone can make the experience their own.
Time Together
October 4: Arrive, settle in, and ease into reunion time at your own pace.
October 5–6: Make room for shared meals, conversation, and activities together.
October 7: Enjoy a final morning together before heading home.
